Evolution: The Grand Experiment DVD -
Episode 1
This first episode documents many
misleading museum displays, science magazine articles, and television
documentaries, covering topics such as "dinosaurs with feathers," "walking
whales," and "flying dinosaurs." Filmed in seven countries three continents over
a 12-year period, this DVD has highlights from 12 dig sites. 60 museums, and
many universities. Narrated by Andres Williams of London, and scored by British
film composer Simon Wilkinson, this show has a feel of a PBS television
documentary.
This first episode coincides with
Volume 1 of Evolution: The Grand Experiment, and is designed to be viewed by a
general audience, or in a classroom setting, as a supplement to the accompanying
Teacher's Manual. Bonus materials include an interview with author Dr. Carl
Werner and a discussion on flying reptiles (Pterosaurs).
