A Journey of Rediscovery

At century's end thousands of pilgrims journeyed to Rome to celebrate the tenth anniversary of two related events. One was Pope John Paul II's Motu Proprio, Ecclesia Dei, the Apostolic letter that asked bishops to grant wide and generous permission for the Latin Mass worldwide.

The second was the foundation of a new order of priests dedicated to that Mass's propagation, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter.

This historic DVD honors that pilgrimage. The video includes an audience with Pope John Paul II, a conference presided over by then Cardinal, Josef Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, and an evocative visual tour of the Vatican and the Eternal City.
