Unhappy with traditional military camouflage, he began, simply enough, by dabbing splotches of brown dye on some gray work clothes to match his surroundings. After two years of increased hunting success, he meticulously applied a bark pattern with magic marker. Soon, other hunters were pestering him for the new outfits. The original printed Trebark® was created in 1980, and modern camouflage, the dress code of the hunter, was born. As you well know, others have come along since, but even they admit that Jim was the reason they entered the market. Since then, Trebark® has continued to lead the industry with amazingly accurate patterns and technologies. All for one purpose: to give the hunter the edge and increase his success. Jim's work as the inventor and constant innovator has earned him a place in hunting history. In the early days, there were only a couple of hunting TV shows.  Jim met Wayne Pearson and they became close friends.  Wayne’s television shows provided a stage for showcasing these new and innovative camo products.   Today, Jim Crumley and Wayne Pearson have once again teamed up to market a totally new and impressive brand of products.
