- How do you offer such low prices?
First of all, we have been around since
1942 and have very good sources for our fabrics. In addition, we
do not provide the services that many other companies, at higher prices,
provide. While we do provide some samples we do not provide full
color cards or extensive samples. We do not cut yardages (except for the
Nomex (r) fabrics) and you must buy the roll sizes in stock, no
exceptions. In most cases, our low prices will more than compensate
for this lack of additional services.
- Will you accept returns?
Unless a mistake is made in shipping, we will not accept returns.
We cater primarily to the more sophisticated buyer that mostly
knows what they are looking for and is less likely to select the wrong
fabrics. Returns are very costly to a vendor and other vendors that
have more liberal return policies must add that cost to the final price that
you pay for the fabric. If you are not sure if the fabric that you have
interest in is appropriate, please make sure to do the research before you
buy. We do not sell any fabrics that are unique to us and if
you really need the opportunity to return a fabric shipment we suggest
that you find another vendor who sells an identical fabric. Also,
there are many excellent local stores that you can visit and actually touch
and feel the fabrics prior to purchase. Most likely their prices will
be significantly higher, but they are offering a significantly higher level
of service.
- How fast is shipping?
Usually within 24 hours, but if we receive the order before noon
Eastern time, it most likely will leave that day. If you want to make
sure when we can ship send us an email at info@magnafabrics.com
-
Will you do a special order for fabrics not carried?
No, we do not do special orders.
-
Do you have fabrics not listed online?
Yes, we do. Please send us an email and be as specific as you can with
your request.
-
If I have a question should I phone or email?
Please use email and be as specific as you can.
-
Where are your fabrics made?
On the online store, we feature only fabrics that are made in the
USA. We've maintained long relationships with our suppliers, the
very best of the American mills, and we feel extremely comfortable and
confident with their fabric. In addition, by sourcing in America we
can feel very good that the workers are both making living wages and working
in safe conditions.
On a personal level, the owner of the company has
a very strong commitment to sourcing in America and we will continue to
uphold that policy .
