Since its foundation in 1980 Agri-gear Ltd has grown steadily and is now firmly established as a forerunner in the Irish Tyre and Wheel industry. In 2007 the company invested €2 million in a new Tyre store, fitting areas, retail outlet and offices, these new state of the art facilities have ensured that Agri-gear is well equipped to continue its growth into the future.

Agri-gear can boast an impressive range of products including BKT, Nokian and Michelin tyres, and Jantsa, Pronar and Fad wheels, a range ROC and FAD axles are also stocked to compliment the business. The company is also the only Irish manufacturer of special customized off road wheels such as Rowcrop, Loader, Earth Mover, Tanker and Tractor.

Agri-gear's customer base covers the entire Island of Ireland, deliveries are made daily by company vehicles and by subcontracted couriers. Customers can get tyres by next day delivery or a set of special wheels within 4 days anywhere in Ireland. Agri-gear supplies wheels and tyres to OEMs throughout Ireland and to a large manufacturer in Hungary, in recent times the company supplied wheels to Astra in Italy which is a subsidiary of the Fiat group of companies.

The BKT range of Tyres accounts for over 40% of Agri-gear's products, this range consists of Agrimax Radial Tractor and Implement Tyres, Industrial, Earthmover, Golf Cart and Lawn & Garden Tyres. The Agrimax Radial Tyres came on the market in 2004 and have been a major success for Agri-gear in Ireland. The Nokian range of Car, Van and Jeep Tyres account for a large part of the companies retail business, this is a high quality tyre from Finland ideally suited to Northern European conditions.


The Manufacturing facility at Agri-gear specializes in offering special wheels suited to the customer's unique requirements and to providing equipment manufacturers with the ideal wheel configuration for their machine. Wheels can be designed to widen or narrow the tramline of a machine, machines can be fitted with special rims to take wide flotation tyres for wet conditions or low ground pressure applications.
