Abalone, pronounced, ab-uh-loh-nee comes from the inside shell of a type of sea snail found in the cold waters off the coast of North America. The mystical swirls of blues and greens of this shell are associated with healing, serenity, nobility and honesty.
Avoid spraying your abalone jewellery with hairsprays or perfumes. If necessary to clean the piece, use warm soapy water and then wipe with a soft cloth. Try to avoid dropping your piece. Store in a cloth or plastic bag.
