NGK®’s sophisticated v-groove design of the center electrode leads the spark to the outer edge of the ground electrode, placing it closer to the air/fuel mixture and reducing ignition voltage requirements. ICE’s proprietary technology improves on this design by increasing the conductivity and durability of the electrodes, further reducing the ignition voltage requirements and ultimately providing more energy for the spark.

ICESparks™ PREMIUM Iridium spark plugs are based on the NGK® Iridium spark plug, a proven, high quality iridium plug installed as original equipment (OE) in the automotive industry since 1994. By improving and refining a patented technology, ICE’s proprietary technology improves on this design by increasing the conductivity and durability of the electrodes, further reducing the ignition voltage requirements and ultimately provides more energy for the spark.
