The Sweet Romance Style
While many pieces of antique and vintage jewelry were passed down through generations, much of it was lost or discarded. Often, jewelry, which is intended for one particular person, ends up in the possession of someone else. Antique shops have been scoured for jeweled reminders of yesterday's sweet memories.
Women yearn for the sentimental, the whimsical and the glamorous fashion jewels of days gone by. I attempt to answer these desires in each of my designs, incorporating the stylistic emphasis of particular historical periods. Rather than offering a trendy product aimed for the moment, I strive to create articles, which are original artworks and worthy of cherishing as heirlooms.
There is something almost magical about putting on a piece of Sweet Romance jewelry. Beyond its mere ornament, it connects us to the lineage of women whose fashion artifacts now influence our personal sense of style.
